This is an action of tort originally brought against one Lester H. Cummings to recover for injury to the plaintiff's horse caused by the alleged negligent operation of the defendant's automobile. Cummings died before the trial and his administratrix was substituted as defendant. There was a verdict for the plaintiff and the case is before us on the defendant's exception to the denial of her motion for a directed verdict.
