Was the assignee of a certain claim, given to secure or effect payment of an indebtedness, authorized to settle the claim for less than the full amount, and if so, did he exercise the utmost good faith in doing so? These are the only substantial questions presented on this appeal. The trial court found that the settlement of the claim was proper, and entered judgment for plaintiff. Defendant appeals.
