1. The first and basic question to be determined is the legal priority under Georgia law as between a bill of sale to secure debt, not recorded until after work was done and material furnished by a mechanic on an automobile, and a mechanic's lien levied in foreclosure against the vehicle, it appearing that the mechanic had no actual knowledge of the outstanding bill of sale at the time it performed the work and furnished the materials.
