Rufus W. Fontenot, Collector of Revenue, State of Louisiana, instituted these proceedings under the provisions of Title 47, Section 1574, of the LSA-Revised Statutes of 1950. He sought to enforce collection of income taxes for the years 1947, 1948, 1949 and 1950, allegedly due the State of Louisiana by John I. Hay Company...
