Rupert A. Roberts was killed in Marion County April 29, 1950, while in the employ of Gainesville Livestock Market, Inc. His wife, Pansy C. Roberts (now Pansy R. Hawes) and his dependent mother, Clara W. Roberts, survived him. Pansy C. Roberts elected to take workmen's compensation and filed claim therefor.
