In this case the appellant, plaintiff below, in his amended complaint alleged a definite contract, dated in May, 1952, whereby the appellee agreed to pay him $6,000 per year, together with a bonus of $2,000, and that it was mutually understood by the parties that the contract was to be a permanent one for one year.
