This is a suit on a policy of accident insurance which defendant issued to Amos Bordeaux; among the coverages the contract provides that in the event of the death of Amos Bordeaux, if such death should result directly and independently of all other causes from accidental bodily injury occurring during the term of the policy, the insurer would pay to the beneficiary the "principal sum" of the policy.
