Lawrence Lownes brought this action in the district court for Dawes County seeking to recover damages because of personal injuries he sustained while employed by defendants as a day laborer. The basis for the action is the claim that his employers required and permitted him to work with a power-driven feed grinder and blower that was in a defective condition.
