HOGG, Justice.

Appellant, Roy Edwards, Jr., was tried under an indictment charging him with the crime of voluntary manslaughter. The jury found him guilty not of voluntary manslaughter but of involuntary manslaughter, an offense included in the indictment, and fixed his punishment at confinement in the county jail for a period of six months and a fine of $2,000.
