Defendant was indicted for violating The Pennsylvania Securities Act of June 24, 1939, P.L. 748, 70 PS § 31, et seq., as re-enacted and amended by the Act of July 10, 1941, P.L. 317, 70 PS § 31, et seq. After waiving a jury trial he was tried and convicted and was sentenced to pay a fine of $200. and undergo imprisonment for a period of three months.
