This is a suit in admiralty by libel in personam in which the libellant seeks to recover damages for personal injuries sustained on the ship "Jonancy" operated by the Seacrest Shipping Company, Inc. The libellant is a citizen of Greece who was employed as Chief Engineer on the ship. The Seacrest Shipping Company, Inc., was the operator of the ship which is said to be owned by a Panamanian corporation which had the ship registered in Liberia...
