This is an appeal by the defendant, Canadian National Railway Company, a Canadian corporation, from a judgment of the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire for the plaintiff, a resident of New Hampshire, in the amount of $15,000 for damages arising out of the death of her husband. The jury's verdict had been in the amount of $30,000 but the plaintiff filed a remittitur for so much of the verdict as exceeded $15,000...
