On May 5, 1952, at about 6 o'clock p. m., a large live oak tree toppled over on plaintiff's Chevrolet automobile, which plaintiff was driving on Codifer Boulevard between Metairie Road and Homestead Avenue in Jefferson Parish. The tree had been felled on a vacant lot to plaintiff's right which was being cleared by the employees of M. S. Centanni, erroneously referred to in the petition as Ike Centanni.
