This is an appeal from a judgment dismissing the action of the appellants contesting the result of a local option election held in the fifteen precincts of Middlesboro, Bell County, Kentucky, on September 21, 1954. The question presented to the voters was: "Are you in favor of the sale of alcoholic beverages in the city of Middlesboro, Kentucky?" The voters could vote "yes" or "no". The certified returns as canvassed by the election commissioners...
