This is an action for personal injuries sustained by the plaintiff Nellie M. Heggen, when the operator of the bus on which she was a paying passenger stopped suddenly to avoid a colision with an automobile that turned in front of him. A few seconds thereafter, the rear of the bus was struck by another bus. Both busses, owned by the city of Seattle and operated by its agents, were traveling north on Second avenue...
