Defendant was indicted for Violation of the Uniform Narcotic Drug Act as defined in section 204.2, Code of Iowa 1954, I.C.A. He pleaded not guilty. Upon trial to a jury he was found guilty of the offense charged and was sentenced to serve a term of not less than two years nor more than five years in the penitentiary at Fort Madison, and to pay a fine of $100, and he was taxed with the costs of the...
