These criminal complaints were heard together in the district court of the tenth judicial district on each defendant's motions to quash and to dismiss the complaints. At the conclusion of such hearing the district judge deemed the questions raised by said motions of such doubt and importance and so affecting the merits of the controversy that they ought to be determined by this court before further proceedings were had in the district court.
