Condemnation proceedings here involved were instituted in Big Stone county by the attorney general of the state of Minnesota to acquire necessary land for the construction of a dike, dam, and control works at the foot of Big Stone Lake and a diversion channel to divert the Whetstone River into Big Stone Lake.
