This was an action brought by the Ohio Turnpike Commission to assess compensation to John and Virginia Kucharek for lands taken and residue damaged as a result of the establishment of the "Ohio Turnpike" through their property in Lorain County, Ohio. This case was tried to a jury, and a verdict of $3,500 was returned as compensation for the land taken, and $1,500 for damages to the residue.
