This was an action in which the plaintiff sought to recover damages for injuries to person and property resulting from the defendant's negligence in the operation of a motor vehicle. The trial court sustained the defendant's demurrer to the plaintiff's evidence for the sole reason that the evidence disclosed plaintiff was guilty of contributory negligence which barred him from recovery.
