The claimant had been in the employ of Beaumont Birch Company, though not continuously, for more than fifteen years. He was a steel worker and had the status of a job foreman on the structural steel operations of the defendant. His duties were to supervise the work in accordance with instructions from his superior, the operation superintendent.
