This is an action to recover accidental death benefits under a $5,000 policy of insurance issued by defendant on the life of Eugene E. Boring, in which plaintiff, Lois M. Boring, the wife of insured, is the beneficiary. The insured was found dead from a gunshot wound on November 12, 1950, while the policy was in effect. Defendant, upon proof of death, paid the face amount of the policy, but denied liability under a double indemnity provision...
