In the year 1949 plaintiff resided in Bremerton, Washington. He was a licensed professional engineer and was practicing his profession in the State of Washington. His former home was at Shoshone, Idaho. In the latter part of May, 1949, while on vacation in Southern Idaho, he made a social call upon respondent, Jack Delane, in Arco, the two men being former classmates in the Shoshone schools.
