The city of Green Bay operates its own watersupply system. It draws its water from various deep wells in the city which have become inadequate, and on August 18, 1953, the city council resolved to draw water from Lake Michigan which is some 26 miles distant from the city limits. Pursuant to appropriate resolutions of the common council, city officers proceeded to obtain authority to do this from the public service...
