The plaintiffs petitioned the public utilities commission to order the defendants, The Clinton Electric Light and Power Company and The Connecticut Light and Power Company, to serve Cedar Island with electric current as required, it is claimed, by § 5673 of the General Statutes. The petition was denied,1 and the plaintiffs appealed to the Superior Court, where the commission, upon its own motion, was made a party defendant...
