In the accident from which this suit results three vehicles were involved,—a motorbus of the defendant, Continental Southern Lines, Inc., a very old Ford sedan of the defendant, Joell Turner, and a Nash sedan of the plaintiff, Harry A. Esteve.

The accident took place in New Orleans at the intersection of Tulane and Claiborne Avenues, between 4:40 and 5:00 o'clock on the morning of May 14, 1952. Both the avenues are very wide thoroughfares...
