The defendant was indicted by the Grand Jury of Madison County and charged in an indictment with the crime of receiving stolen property, contrary to the provisions of Section 712.1, 1954 Code of Iowa, I.C.A. Upon trial he was found guilty. Motion for new trial was overruled and defendant was sentenced to a term of not to exceed five years at the Men's Reformatory at Anamosa, Iowa and pay the costs of this action. He has appealed.
