This is an action, sounding in tort and contract, arising out of the manufacture and sale by the defendant, hereinafter called Ross, of a quantity of copper fabric spandrel flashing. Ross is a citizen of Massachusetts, and the plaintiff, hereinafter called Barrett, is a corporation of the State of Connecticut. In 1952 Barrett was employed as a subcontractor to do the roofing and flashing on a series of medium-cost brick buildings in Bridgeport...
