The defendant, Electa Dore, having been charged by indictment with unlawfully committing "the offense of abortion for the purpose of procuring premature delivery of the embryo by the use of an instrument on a pregnant female * * *" in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:87, is appealing from her conviction and sentence to serve three years at hard labor in the State Penitentiary, relying for reversal on numerous bills of exception taken to the rulings...
