Raymond Bryant, Charles Wilhoit and Edgar Lay were indicted by the Fayette County grand jury during the June term of 1953 on a charge of forcibly robbing Stanley Plowman and Clifford Wardle of $200 and $9, respectively. On October 13, 1953, at a separate trial, Bryant was found guilty and his punishment fixed at confinement in the penitentiary for a period of two years. See KRS 433.120(1).
