The plaintiff, appellee herein, recovered a judgment against the defendant, appellant herein, after a jury verdict for injuries received when he was struck by defendant's automobile. The plaintiff, a married man 68 years old, was an employee of the State Highway Department, and, at the time of the accident, he was engaged in his duties as a flagman on a road repair job.
