This appeal is from a judgment of the Campbell Circuit Court sustaining a demurrer to and dismissing the petition of James Mote for a writ of habeas corpus.

Appellant, James Mote, and three other persons were indicted and tried jointly in the Campbell Circuit Court for the crime of keeping a house of ill-fame. All four were convicted and were given the maximum penalty, a fine of $200 and imprisonment in the county jail for one year. Their motion...
