This is an appeal from a judgment dismissing an uncontested action for divorce based on extreme cruelty. The facts are set forth in the opinion of Judge Conford before whom the case was tried, Welch v. Welch, 34 N.J.Super. 197 (Ch. Div. 1955). The State has an interest in actions for divorce and in the trial of such cases, particularly when they are ex parte, the utmost care should be taken...
