The act of the General Assembly creating the City Court of Decatur provides that, as to the classes of cases over which the court was to have jurisdiction, the court was to have jurisdiction which should be, "concurrent with the superior court of said county, except such civil courses [sic] of action and such criminal cases, the jurisdiction of which is exclusively conferred by the Constitution and laws of this State upon the superior court...
