Appeal by defendants from an adverse judgment entered on a jury verdict in an action for damages for personal injuries.

The injuries resulted from an assault made on plaintiff by defendants Matt and Miller on May 10, 1951. For several years prior to that time plaintiff and defendants Matt and Miller were employees of defendant Southern Pacific Company.
