Enoch Hedin was injured when his automobile was struck by a bus at a road intersection in Maryland. At the trial of his suit for damages, Capital Transit Company's motion for a directed verdict at the close of plaintiff's evidence was denied. Defendant company elected to stand on the motion and introduced no evidence. After a verdict in Hedin's favor, the Transit Company's motion for a judgment non obstante veredicto was denied...
