Luther Hornbeek, father of the defendant and husband of the plaintiff, died in 1938. By his will, the plaintiff became possessed of a life estate in 223 acres of land in Scott county, Illinois. Upon her death it was to be divided between the four children of Luther Hornbeek and Emma Hornbeek, namely Russell Hornbeek, the defendant, Burl Hornbeek, a son, Cecil Hornbeek Dencan, a daughter, and Mary Hornbeek Burbank...
