This case comes to the Law Court from Aroostook County Superior Court on exceptions by the defendant after jury verdict for the plaintiff.

The bill of exceptions states that "this was an action in negligence wherein it was alleged that defendant maintained and controlled a dam at the outlet of Mooseleuk Lake; that defendant negligently released impounded water from Mooseleuk Lake, thereby causing ice to be dislodged in Mooseleuk Stream...
