In June, 1954, a Michigan corporation, Hudson Motor Car Company, merged with and into a Maryland corporation, Nash-Kelvinator Corporation, in such a way that Nash-Kelvinator Corporation became the surviving corporation with its name changed to American Motors Corporation.
