Otis Lasswell, Sr., died testate on April 27, 1952, leaving a widow and five children. His will, dated January 4, 1952, was duly admitted to probate in Jackson County, Kansas. Under its terms, in addition to making provisions for his widow, four of his children and other relatives, he devised 1/12 of 3/4 of the residue of his estate to his son Leon, without any reference whatsoever to payments of money...
