Plaintiffs Quiroga and Aguirre commenced an action against defendant railroad company and the engineer, fireman and conductor of its train to recover damages for injuries received when a truck in which they were riding was struck by the train. The action was tried with a jury, and verdicts were returned awarding Quiroga $50,000 and Aguirre $20,000.
