The employer was a manufacturer of paper bags. The decedent was a packer; he had to collect the bags in a hand truck and bring them to his work table to be packed. According to the proof offered on behalf of the widow, the decedent had been pushing a loaded truck weighing over 1,000 pounds when it struck a crack in the floor; the decedent strained trying to get it out and he was finally helped by another employee.
