Complaint was filed in this case alleging the defendant was indebted to the plaintiff. At the conclusion of the plaintiff's case the defendant moved for a directed verdict, which was denied. The defendant then put on his testimony in defense. The case was submitted to a jury which returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff for the sum of $6,200.
