This case stems from the sale of a stock of groceries, by appellant Marvin to appellee Brooks; and is here on an appeal by Marvin (from a judgment quashing his writ of attachment), and a cross-appeal by Brooks (from directed verdicts which denied him damages and awarded Marvin a judgment for debt).
