We will herein refer to plaintiff in error as defendant, or by name.

An information was filed in the district court of the City and County of Denver against defendant and one Gene Dukes, in which said defendants were charged with the crime of murder. Separate trials were ordered for each defendant. Defendant Leick entered pleas of not guilty, and not guilty by reason of insanity at the time of the alleged commission of the crime, and was committed...
