This is a suit involving a controversy between two groups of colored people over the ownership, use and control of certain church properties known and described as Lot No. 8 and the North one-half of Lot No. 7 in Block 9 of the North Addition to the town of Vernon, Wilbarger County, Texas. It is to be noticed that this is not one of those suits where the local congregation becomes divided and each division claims to have the right to the property...
