[1a] The question on this appeal is whether violations of the Old Age Pension Act (Welf. & Inst. Code, §§ 2000-2230), admittedly punishable under the Act (Welf. & Inst. Code, §§ 2007-2008), may also be punished alternatively under the theft statute of the Penal Code. (Pen. Code, § 484.)
