Defendant filed a motion to suppress certain evidence (marihuana) seized by police officers from his hotel room. The following facts appeared from the hearing on the motion.

Around 1:30 in the afternoon, the defendant Busby was accosted on the street by two members of the narcotic squad of the metropolitan police department who knew the defendant as a drug addict. Busby "consented" to a search of his person, although he denied having any marihuana...
