Elizabeth Perske, the plaintiff, is the second and present wife of defendant Dr. Frederick Perske, an osteopath. Pearl Perske, a defendant and the cross-complainant, is the first wife of the doctor. Elizabeth brought an action against her husband and Pearl to quiet her title to a lot in Pebble Beach. Pearl responded with a cross-complaint, charging that the property in question was the property of the doctor, and asked to have a conveyance from the doctor...
