After the decision in Caputo v. Board of Appeals of Somerville, 330 Mass. 107, an amendment of the plaintiff's bill was allowed on April 17, 1953. The amendment set forth that on September 11, 1952, the board of aldermen purported to change the area in which the plaintiff's land is situated from an Industrial A to a Residence B zoning district, which change was approved by the mayor on September 22, 1952...
